How to stay calm in the coronavirus crisis (interactive) – video
Yesterday, I put this video together in the hope it will be useful to someone, somewhere.
It had a slightly troubled birth.
I tried to record it a couple of days ago. I even wrote the beginning of a script. But it didn’t flow – there was so much I wanted to say – and so I gave up.
What I felt it needed was more than one voice.
Then it occurred to me to ask everyone what they think. Which led to this.
Almost immediately, the video veers off to talk about the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator, which I discovered last year and is seriously interesting. After answering a series of questions at 16personalities.com, your “personality type” is revealed, in a four-letter code. (Mine is INFP.) You are then given several pages of information about your personality type, which I’m sure you will find fascinating and reassuring. You can then explore videos on YouTube, pages on Facebook and whatever else you fancy.
I’d love to hear your thoughts on the video – either in the comments section on YouTube, or here. I saw someone Twitter appealing for men under 35 not to start a new podcast while self-isolating, and I nearly cancelled my plan to make this. But I still feel it’s important to do whatever we can to help, and I hope this will be useful somehow. (And I’m over 35, so I guess I’m excused.)
